When I change the SkyrimSELauncher settings to run "1080p" it only covers 1/4 of my screen. "Windowed mode" is not checked so it should be running fullscreen. When I go into NVIDIA control panel to temporarily switch my monitor to 1080p instead of 4k resolution, and run the game, the game will also refuse to launch in fullscreen, only launching Even at 1440p 🤷‍♂️. 2k is the sweet spot for 27 inches. Don't get a 4k monitor. Honestly, 4K is way too much for 28 inches. You'll get a PPI of 157,32. Unless you are planning to sit extremely close to your monitor, like 50cm or less, which would not be really recommended for your eyes, get a 1440p. If you daisy-chain two monitors, run the first monitor (laptop screen) in a maximum resolution, the second monitor on a medium resolution, and third on a low resolution. If you get a high resolution monitor, it'll be a much more enjoyable experience outside of games, and when running games you can play at a lower resolution to get better performance.
