Riley is the popular dog who was an integral part and a playable character in the Ghosts Campaign, breaking our hearts as he sniffs out bombs Look I’m really not a COD hater, I actively defend MOST of the games, but Ghosts is not good imo. Like yeah Extinction is a great alternative to zombies don’t get me wrong. But the campaign was mediocre at its best, the most interesting and remembered part of the entire campaign is just that a dog is there. Pretty similar order for multiplayer, except BLOPS3 would slot in between MW2 and GHOSTS. Didn't enjoy the campaign, but online has been quite fun. Opposite for AW, good campaign, but didn't like online all that much. I've played COD, COD2, and COD3, but don't remember well enough to say where I'd rank them. Probably ahead of AW, and maybe MW3. Idk if you ever played Medal Of Honor Rising Sun, but the way you described COD Ghosts is exactly the way I felt about the MOH game. The campaign was extremely fun and well done (for the time), but they ruin it by SPOILERS have your brother get kidnapped by a Japanese High Ranking Officer at the very end. Just like Ghosts, it was such a sequel Cod ghosts was a bad campaign, only beaten by vanguard as far as the games I played, had half good maps half dogshit maps, and was the first cod to do away with 4 player local multiplayer. The story wasn’t any better than most of the story’s but imo any MW and BO 1 2 and Cold War were better. The maps were garbage. Cod4 and bo1 are probably the 2 best campaigns in the franchise. If you want one purely for the fun factor, go with bo3. But if you're looking for best cod games to play in order, I suggest you go with cod black ops 1, black ops 2, and then black ops 3. Advanced warfare is also a generally fun game. It got reviewed 4.4/5 despite the fact that more people were playing BO2 in Ghosts peak. If you’d have said Ghosts is underrated in its lifecycle people would’ve laughed at you. Nah man ghost was more interesting than the recycle we get now with the modern warfare franchise easily top 5. The futuristic ones are coincidentally the best campaigns IMO: Advanced Warfare. Black Ops 2. Infinite Warfare. Infinite Warfare is my favorite, but BOII is hella underrated for how good it's campaign and story is AND because it's actually a branching storyline with several different developments/outcomes. I like ghosts feel and look of the game but I hate the spawns in the game, also alot of the maps on black ops 2 I feel were made better. I like league play and theatre mode for black ops 2. I play more ghosts though and prefer it over black ops 2. Just wish they had theatre mode for ghosts. 1. 2nd favorite cod ever. It had GREAT guns, a GREAT perk system, fun kill streaks, map kill streaks, a few good maps (though a few terrible ones), the best dlc of any cod game ever, and great customization.
